Kadina - Wallaroo - Moonta
Absorb the history of the 'Copper Coast', and then relax on a sparkling beach at Wallaroo, Port Hughes or Moonta Bay. On selected days, enjoy historic train travel with the YP Rail Lions Train on a journey from Wallaroo to Bute. Early mornings at Wallaroo can reward you with the spectacular sight of the prawn boats leaving the harbour (in season).
The Copper Coast is a wealth of local and South Australian history, with a variety of Museums to visit and explore; including The Farm Shed Museum & Tourism Centre, Wallaroo Heritage & Nautical Museum, Moonta Mines Museum, and the Kadina Banking & Currency Museum.
These three townships, known as "Australia's Little Cornwall", are the hosts of the biennial Kernewek Lowender, the world's largest Cornish Festival, held in odd numbered years in May.
