Adelaide - Two Wells - Mallala - Balaklava - Port Wakefield - Bute - Port Broughton
Just north of Adelaide is Two Wells, celebrated for it's two historic wells, hence the name of the town. Continuing north to Mallala, well known for it's popular racetrack, where motor vehicles and motorcycles race on organised race days, and once a year this track comes alive as part of the V8 Supercars championship.
The drive to Balaklava takes you through rich cropping and farming area, alive with the colours of the season. Once in Balaklava, be sure to visit their Courthouse Museum, and stop for a look at the popular community mural. At Bute, garden lovers will delight in the Bromeliad Nursery, while craft lovers will find quality and unique crafts and gifts at Gunner Bills Gallery.
On the road to Port Broughton is Cream Puff Corner - on the Monday of the October long weekend, have a unique experience with the opportunity to enjoy a cream puff as part of a fundraiser at the aptly named location. Once in Port Broughton, you can experience their Heritage Centre, or just stroll along their esplanade under the shade of Norfolk Island Pines.
